The problem
An aging condenser that couldn't keep up on the hottest days and had started tripping on high pressure.
What we did
Replaced the outdoor condenser with a new Lennox unit on a level pad, flushed and pressure-tested the line set, matched the indoor coil, pulled a deep vacuum and charged to the manufacturer's subcooling target.
