Fujitsu Halcyon ductless mini-split indoor unit installed by Lumen Heating and Cooling

The problem

A room the central system never reached properly — too hot in summer, too cold in winter, and no practical way to run new ductwork to it.

What we did

Installed a Fujitsu Halcyon ductless mini-split: wall-mounted indoor head, outdoor inverter unit, line set and condensate run concealed, and a dedicated electrical circuit. Commissioned and tested in both heating and cooling before we left.

Questions homeowners ask about jobs like this

Does a mini-split heat as well as cool?
Yes. Modern inverter mini-splits are heat pumps, so the same unit heats in winter and cools in summer, and the Fujitsu Halcyon line holds capacity well below freezing.

How much does a ductless mini-split cost?
A complete ductless system runs $10,000–$14,000 installed depending on the number of zones. Single-room setups sit at the low end, and ENERGY STAR models qualify for rebates.
